Mokarran Protection Society

The Mokarran Protection Society is a French non-profit organisation located in Rangiroa in French Polynesia, which aims to study and protect the Great Hammerhead Shark.

Despite its endangered status, the Great Hammerhead Shark is one the least-known shark species in the world.

Through our scientific expeditions conducted in the Tuamotu archipelago, we aim to better understand this emblematic species and actively contribute to the protection of this endangered top predator.
